I produced the 5 o clock show on Mondays. This one is from April 29. I thought we had a lot of interesting local news and I liked how we set up the show. There wasn't a clear lead, so using the story on gas prices as our first story was a way to make our content relevant to viewers while still maintaining the today angle. If I could have done anything differently, it would have been to make our first reporter go live, but I thought the touch screen would have been more interactive. Overall, this was a smooth show and I liked the way we stacked it.

A block- 5 p.m show (full)
This show had a lot of elements that I'm pretty proud of. I opened the show with a cold sot, and I thought it was the right choice since it was impactful and drew the viewers in. I debated having the reporter go live since I didn't want to imply that the airport was at fault; I felt this would make the airport a target for negativity and I didn't think they deserved that in this case. I liked the way the show was stacked and thought it flowed well together. If I had to change one thing I would have dropped one of the health stories so that the end of the show wouldn't have felt so rushed. Overall, I felt there weren't a lot of errors and that I did a good job on this show.
Morning show sample
I produced the morning show on Wednesdays. This is a sample of what the 6:30 a.m. segment from February 13th's show looked like.
10 p.m. show (full)
I produced the 10 on Fridays. Here is a sample of the April 3rd show. We had three breaking news stories and I managed to add them all to the show. It was hectic and stressful, but seeing how everything came together was worth it. With the quick hustle from one reporter, we managed to start the show with our first piece of breaking news and beat out the other stations. I learned a lot about working as a team as all hands were on deck for to get this show on air. There were few mistakes and I'm the most proud of this show.
